My family got to know the Hennings during our stay in CR. What a wonderful family and a humble man. Christianity has been preserved down the years and throughout the world by the LORD working through men like Steve---little known by many, faithfully working the task he has been given by the Lord and utterly committed to the Gospel of grace and mercy found only through our Savior.

God bless the Hennings.

When you read this letter aloud at the college retreat, I was floored. I was amazed at the confidence in which he finds his hope and joy and trust in the Lord. My mommy had colon cancer twice in the past decade, and she has been healthy for almost two years now but geez louise, I could relate to the scary feeling of having a parent go through a serious battle.

His letter was so glorifying to the Lord, and I was so highly encouraged to see that his focus was the Lord, and his almighty power...and it really put myself and probably everyone on the trip in check. I'm so grateful you shared this letter with us, I don't think I'll ever forget hearing his story.
