Castro Valley First Baptist Church (CVFirst) is where I serve as Sr. Pastor. I have been serving in California since December of 2005. We are a church of about 425 nestled in the beautiful Bay Area about 15 minutes from Oakland and 30 minutes from San Francisco across the Bay.
I am thankful to be a part of a loving, active, caring community of believers whose desire is to Learn more about who God is, Love Him and others more and Live as faithful servants according to His will.

Thank you for your bold and straight forward treatment of the Propositions and election on Sunday. It was really refreshing and encouraging to hear after being in some surprising and disturbing debates with family, friends and other believers over the last few weeks.

Thanks for your kind words. I really struggled with it and wanted it to be a natural outflow of the message, i.e. we must view life through the lens of Scripture. To me there is a simplicity to those two propositions if we allow God’s Word to guide us.
